Perinatal Support Partner Scholarship

Perinatal support partners, commonly referred to as doulas, offer a variety of services for perinatal individuals. Some specialize in supporting individuals during their birthing experience, some during the postpartum journey, and even partners specialize in supporting loss.

Through our partnership with the Institute of Family Health PICHC program, we have offered scholarships to Hudson Valley residents. Investing in community care is an essential component in combatting health disparities. Having professionals who are a part of the African diaspora offers those most impacted by systemic bias.

We're currently taking applications until February 02, 2026. Selected prospects will receive notification and an invitation to a video interview with MHCM staff. After which, an applicant will be chosen and notified by March 02, 2026.
